A boat captain who evidently is also an RC enthusiast or FPV enthusiast captured a boat fire of a $24 million dollar yacht that was docked close to him. The boat's captain, Kurt Roll, captured the footage using a DJI Phantom quadcopter which is one of the most popular enthusiast platforms for capturing amateur video using a GoPro or other camera. Most likely civilian UAV's are going to be responsible for many more exciting news clips in years to come as more acquire these for personal photography or videography use. This leads to many questions on how civilian UAV and FPV aircraft will be restricted by the FAA or other federal means or if they will. Only time will tell.
